Memories is Deeditt's private journaling space. It's a place to write freely without any pressure to share—reflect on your day, process a difficult moment, track your progress. Only you can see your Memories unless you choose to publish them as a journey.

Absolutely. Deeditt includes 'Memories'—a private journaling space where you can reflect, track your growth, and process your thoughts. You control what stays private and what you choose to share as public journeys.

Yes. Each deed and journey has its own visibility setting. You can keep something fully private, share it only with specific people or groups, limit it to Deeditt members, or make it fully public. You're always in control.

You decide completely. Each deed can be private (only you), community-only (Deeditt members), or public. You can also share with specific groups or individuals.

Yes. You can export your Memories from Settings › Memories: your entries, the metadata attached to them, and your images. It arrives by email as a ZIP, and the download link stays valid for seven days. It is free on every plan, because being able to take your writing with you is not a premium feature. Deeds and journeys are not part of this first version.

You can delete your account directly from the app settings. All your data—deeds, journeys, Memories, and profile—is permanently removed. You can also submit a data deletion request through our dedicated page if you need help.

Private memories and journal entries are encrypted using hybrid encryption with RSA and AES-256-GCM. Your data is protected in transit and in storage, never sold, and never used for advertising or profiling. You stay in control of what remains private and what you choose to share.

No. Your content is never used for advertising, sold to third parties, or used to train AI models. Private entries are encrypted, access is tightly restricted, and the encrypted content, the keys, and the passphrase that unlocks them are kept in separate places by design. Memory Insights is a Pro feature, and it is also optional and off by default; when you turn it on, the entries from that period are sent to an external model provider to generate your summary — without your name, email, or account identifier — and they are not used for training. Writing in Memories is free on every plan and never leaves our systems this way. Public journeys are visible to the community, but that's the only context in which they're shared.

No algorithms. No ads. No data extraction. Just real stories from real people told at their own pace, without performance pressure. We're built to nurture meaningful connection, not maximize engagement. And you can both write and read.

Yes. You can report inappropriate content directly from any deed. Our community team reviews reports and takes action to keep Deeditt safe and respectful.
