Life transitions
Moving Abroad Journal
Thirteen pages for the year that changes everything, written by someone who has moved country twice and got the preparation right and the rest wrong.
Family
Parenthood Journal
Every parenthood journal records the child. This one records you: what you teach without meaning to, what you say yes and no to, and what you brought with you from your own childhood.
Reflection
Year in Review
Most year-end reviews ask you to summarise a year you can no longer remember. This one starts by helping you recover it, and only then asks what it meant.
Why these are free
We think wisdom travels through lived experience rather than through attention. What you went through is worth something to someone facing it now — and it is worth something to you, later, when you have forgotten the detail.
That only works if it gets written down. Documenting your own experience is how you remember where you came from, and how you work out where you are going.
None of it is comfortable. These are introspective, and they ask for honesty rather than a good account of yourself. Publishing them is simply part of what we are trying to build: a quieter place where real experience gets documented and thought about, instead of flattened into something presentable.
