Deeditt v2.7.0: Memory storylines, photo attachments, and more reliable uploads

Release notes for Deeditt v2.7.0, covering connected memory storylines, image attachments, more resilient media uploads, and clearer insight visualizations.

A release focused on making memories feel more connected, more visual, and more reliable.
v2.7.0 2 min read

This release, published on May 5, 2026, brings three powerful improvements to how you journal and reflect:

  • Memory storylines that automatically surface patterns and cycles in your thoughts
  • Photo attachments to capture moments alongside your words
  • Richer insight visualizations that show you what your writing reveals across weeks, months, and quarters

Memory storylines: Find patterns you might miss

Deeditt now automatically detects recurring patterns across your memories—without you having to search for them. Maybe you’re anxious every Sunday. Maybe you feel creative in spring. Maybe certain themes return every few months.

Memory storylines from the Deeditt web app

Instead of reading isolated entries, you’ll start seeing cycles, seasons, and rhythms in your life. These patterns are often invisible in the moment but become clear when you look at the bigger picture. Now Deeditt finds them for you.

This is the kind of insight that usually only emerges after months of reflection—but the app does the heavy lifting.

Photo attachments: Memories deserve visuals

You can now add photos directly to your journal entries. Pair a sunset with how it made you feel. Capture a moment with the person you’re writing about. Let images live alongside your words.

This feature was planned long ago, but we wanted to get it right. We built a custom media uploader that works seamlessly across devices and networks. It handles large files, slow connections, and even offline moments. Your photos will be there when you need them.

Writing is powerful, but sometimes a visual moment matters just as much as the words. Now your memories can be whole. Born out of a personal need for an event that could only be captured with a photo, it became one of the most requested features by users. We’re excited to finally release it.

Better insight visualizations: See your data clearly

Insight visualizations are now richer and smarter. You can now view your data across different time windows—see how you felt last week, last month, or last quarter. Watch patterns shift with the seasons. Spot trends you’d miss in a single week.

We’ve also redesigned how insights present information: less text, more visuals. The noise is gone. What matters—the actual patterns—stands out immediately.

This is what makes journaling turn into real understanding. You write, Deeditt shows you what it all means.
