v2.6.0 3 min read

This release, published on April 11, 2026, brings four powerful new features and improvements to how you understand yourself:

  • Weekly personality profiles that reveal how you showed up across the week
  • Behavioral pattern detection with actionable “Try Next” suggestions
  • Energy level tracking to see how energy connects to your well-being
  • Improved journey navigation and a redesigned onboarding experience

Weekly personality profiles: See how you showed up

Your weekly reflection now goes deeper. Beyond mood and tone, Deeditt now shows a personality profile that captures how you navigated the week across multiple dimensions:

  • Under pressure: How you respond when things get difficult
  • In calm: How you show up when space opens
  • Socially: How you connected with others
  • In action: How you moved forward and made things happen

This isn’t a static personality assessment. It’s a dynamic reflection of how you actually showed up this week, based on what you wrote. Over time, you’ll notice patterns in how you navigate different situations—and opportunities to grow.

Behavioral patterns & Try Next: Turn insight into action

Deeditt now surfaces recurring behavioral patterns detected from your weekly writing. When a pattern is strong enough, the app doesn’t just show you what’s happening—it suggests something to try next.

Maybe you notice you hesitate before big conversations. The app might suggest: Try initiating one difficult conversation this week. Later, you can reflect on how it went. This turns passive insight into a lightweight, actionable feedback loop that encourages growth without adding pressure.

Behavioral patterns work best over time. As you write more, the patterns become clearer, and the suggestions become more relevant to your life.

Energy level tracking: Connect energy to everything

You can now log your daily energy level alongside your memories. This single data point feeds into your entire insight system, helping you see how energy connects to your mood, productivity, and well-being.

Energy Level Tracking

Energy is a key signal that affects everything from creative output to emotional resilience. By tracking it, you get a more complete picture of your daily patterns:

  • Do you write differently when your energy is high vs. low?
  • How does energy today predict your mood tomorrow?
  • Are there seasons when your energy dips?

Track it, and Deeditt will show you what it means.

Journey navigation: Read memories as a continuous story

When you’re viewing a deed inside a journey, you can now navigate to the previous or next deed directly without returning to the journey list. A position indicator shows where you are in the sequence, making it feel like reading a continuous story.

This small change makes a big difference when you’re reflecting on a journey as a whole—a trip, a project, a chapter of your life—instead of isolated moments. It’s now easier to see the flow of events and how they connect, which is what journaling is really about. Like small chapters in a book, your deeds come together to tell the story of your life.

Journey Navigation

Improved momentum tracking: Celebrate consistency

Momentum now uses rolling time windows (week, month, quarter) instead of calendar weeks, giving you a more accurate picture of your writing rhythm.

We also changed how steady effort is reflected: a consistent pace is now shown as a positive state rather than zero growth. If you write regularly at a steady pace, that’s growth. That’s building a habit. Deeditt now recognizes it as such.

This encourages the kind of writing habits that matter most: showing up consistently, week after week.
