We gifted our child a toy he really cared about, and one day he brought it to after-school to show it proudly, but when he came back home, the toy was ripped off.

We don’t know exactly what happened, it might have been him, or someone else, and the story behind the fact was confused. It’s always difficult to get clear answers with the little man.

Today I’m proud to say that the new version of #Deeditt for Web 🌎 is live and it’s not just an update, it’s a milestone.

What started as a simple deeds read-only version months ago now has become a full experience, bringing the opportunity to write deeds, comment, explore profiles, browse categories and hashtags and more… it finally feels alive. 😌

We just completed our first #school 📚 year, and what a journey it's been! This wasn't just his learning experience - we grew as parents too. There were moments of #friction with the school 🏫, those inevitable differences when you're trying to align educational philosophies. But that's part of the process.

One major shift: our travel ✈️ plans now revolve around school holidays. We've learned to embrace longer family trips that sync with his schedule. It's actually opened up new possibilities...

It’s hard to set limits when you really love what you’re building 💭

These last few weeks have been intense, and finally have a stable version of the #Deeditt web app 🎉 that it's just a few days to be fully released. It’s not as complete as the mobile version, but it’s close enough to feel real.

Happy Father's Day!!🩵💙

I may not have been ready to see the man I share my life with through our son's eyes 😍. But what he sees is a great dad - always ready to play and show up, the most playful and active person we've known. I'm convinced they have a bond like no other, and witnessing that bond is one of the many thing...

This past month has been a turning point for me and for #Deeditt. I took time to really think about the #future not just what I want to build, but also what I don’t want Deeditt to become. I realized I was being influenced too much by today’s social media, and that wasn’t the path I truly believed in. So I wrote a ✍️ #Medium article to express my thoughts, and to my surprise, people responded with support and great ideas. That made me feel I’m not alone on this journey.

I’ve also been working...

No sólo...

A few days ago, I wrapped up a new version of the #Deeditt app and introduced some small updates on the web. One major feature went live, but it came with a significant challenge — #ReactNative is undergoing internal changes, which forced me to refactor parts of the code and update several dependencies.

I'm still moving forward with the user acquisition plan, and I have to admit—it’s tough. I’ve started using the term “fast content” to describe the way other platforms push us to publish...

I'm not sure when this all started, but I think it lines up with my move to Ireland. I fled the pollution in Mexico, hoping the change would help my eyes. And it did, but then a new issue emerged with my skin.

It could just be a coincidence, or maybe it's related to aging, or perhaps it's a reaction to the environment here. This cold, damp climate feels so different from what I'm used to, and it seems to have stirred up something in my skin that I'm still trying to figure out.
