We’ve finally reached that stage where colorful books and #comics become important—or at least interesting. Now, whenever we travel, we always bring along a drawing book, some crayons, and our favorite comic book.
What surprises me the most is that even though he can’t read yet, he sits quietly flipping through the pages, curious about what’s behind the story. We’ve been reading #DogMan by Dav Pilkey, which is fun and keeps him hooked. We usually finish a book in a week or less because he just loves them.
For me, reading these books has become a special moment. I read fast but with different voices, expressions and intonations, making the story come alive. Some might think I’m a little crazy, but it’s actually really fun—and he loves it too.
After reading, our #imagination takes over. We start drawing, coloring, and even creating our own stories. We’ve begun making up characters and #adventures that maybe one day could be a real #book. We already have a working title: "Lucien and Charlotte", named after a little spider we adopted from the garden.
This stage has taught me that raising a child is about discovering new worlds together, where creativity and wonder grow side by side, every small step is a gift we share and cherish.
