Today, I finally took the plunge! 🌊 This morning, I checked the weather, wind, currents, and water temperature. Excited and a bit scared, I ventured out with 12°C water and 14 km/h winds. ❄️

My gear consisted of goggles, a swim cap, and beach shorts. It's still too soon for my tow float. 🏊‍♂️

I've swum in pools before, but the open water is a completely different challenge. I got tired quickly, but seeing others swimming gave me courage. 🙌

I felt scared not seeing where I was swimming or touching something unknown, but this is just the beginning.

I'm ready to keep going. 💪🚀
