This first week felt like a storm of effort with little to show—no clear wins, no users joined (yet), and a constant push against the current of social media.
I reached out to dozens of people, refined my message daily, and stayed active across platforms. But most replies were cold or absent. Some felt like they just wanted a new follower, not a conversation, just attention. That’s the hard part—realizing most platforms are built for performance, not connection, even when they sell something different.
Still, I kept showing up:
- Released a new version of Deeditt
- Sent the newsletter
- Published blog posts
- Documented every day, everywhere I can
And I started shifting—less chasing attention, more speaking my truth. Less consuming, more creating. I reminded myself: this is not about virality. It’s about planting an idea, even if it takes time to root.
If this week had a lesson, it’s this:
You’re not just building something. You’re defending it.
And sometimes, the only proof of progress is that you haven’t stopped.
