A few days ago, someone asked about my #progress with Deeditt, and I said, "It's progressing—slow, but progressing." And yes, it's true, numbers are great but I have to recognize I've probably taken the slowest path for growth, and I might have decided wrong, but it's done and I'm continuing this way.

Multiple times I've started using social networks because I thought it was the right way to bring people, but used only to grow tired after a month and leave them again. Everything there seems #successful, #polished, #perfect—and even when "great" communities exist, people ultimately try to sell you something, that's what they call "empathetic".

One of these days, I realized something: I'm using social networks to bring people to a place where performance, vanity, and metrics don't matter. It's almost like offering monkeys something different from bananas—hardly any will take it. After that realization, I decided to continue my challenge away from social networks and focus on #blogs, specific #communities, and micro-influencers instead.

The best strategy right now is to write articles, build authority through guest posting, and get even a small number of people talking about #Deeditt. It's working, but as I said initially, it's working slowly.
