It’s been three weeks into this #challenge, and I’ve started to notice where my expectations don’t quite line up with reality.

The blog is getting more traction than the landing page, which feels strange. Part of me wonders if I’ve been putting too much energy into content that’s easier to engage with, instead of guiding people toward the real goal. It’s a reminder that attention doesn’t always equal action.

Social media has been a similar lesson. Seeing profile views, likes, and comments can feel encouraging at first, but they don’t mean much if people don’t take the next step. It’s tempting to celebrate the noise, but deep down I know it’s a #distraction from what really matters — genuine adoption and users who find value.

One bright spot has been conversations with people who might let me write guest posts. It feels less like “promotion” and more like a chance to share what I believe in: journaling, sharing experiences, and the small truths of life. That feels closer to the core of why I started #Deeditt in the first place.

If I’m honest, writing and promoting has been harder than I expected, and it eats up more energy than I’d like to admit. But maybe that’s part of the process: learning that progress isn’t just about numbers, but about showing up, putting in the effort, and being willing to adjust along the way.

A good thing is I'm consistently posting and pushing Deeditt between all noise in the network.
